What is Toolbench?

Toolbench is a free collection of 194 online tools in one fast workbench: text and word tools, JSON and code formatters, image editing, binary and unit converters, calculators, WordPress helpers and AI tools for SEO and answer-engine optimization (AEO).

Is Toolbench free?

Yes. Every tool is free with no usage limits. The AI tools use your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Google API key, so you pay only your provider for what you use.

Do the tools upload my files or text?

No — almost every tool processes your text, code and images right in your browser. The exceptions are clearly labeled: AI tools send prompts to the provider you choose, the IP tools query an IP-lookup service, and the YouTube tool loads thumbnails from YouTube. If you sign in, your settings, inputs, pastes and saved images are stored privately in your account so they sync across devices.

Do I need an account?

No. Every tool works without one, but nothing is remembered. A free sign-in with Google is needed for the AI tools and for saving pastes and images, and it syncs your settings and history across devices.

Are there keyboard shortcuts?
